My story

MAMA IVY is a 3-5 year old strong, selfless mama who was stray with her 3 female babies: Lavender, Flower, and Wilder.

Ivy raised her 3 babies through adoption, and has now been able to blossom on her own, and show us her amazing & hilarious personality. She deserves a forever home of her own! She is endlessly sweet, affectionate, and caring. She would do great in a home with or without other animals or kiddos. She is very easy-going and doesn't ask for much. She is 100% litter-box trained.

Adoption donation of $180 includes spay, microchip, fvrcp vaccines, rabies vaccine, dental procedure, dewormers, and up to date on flea prevention. **All cats adopted from HFPR must be 100% indoor & must not be declawed in its lifetime.**

Why adoption is a great option

Mama Ivy, a Davis Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Davis, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Davis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davis paves the way for another one to be saved.
