My story

Meet the AVENGERS LITTER! [updated 8/11/22]

Mama is a 45lb black German Shepherd Dog/Black Lab Mix, dad unknown. At their current growth, they are expected to outgrow their mom. This litter of seven was born on the streets to their amazing mama, Mama Peggy. They were all brought into an overcrowded central valley shelter and then transferred into our care. These sweet babies have known nothing but love since just a mere few days old! Peggy is extremely loving, gentle, and happy-go-lucky! She & her babes are getting ample socialization with humans and animals alike in their foster home to best prepare her & her babies for their forever homes! There are 4 boys; Tony, Bruce, Steve & Thor and 3 Girls; Wanda, Natasha, & Carol.

We are committed to finding them forever homes that have the time & experience (or research) to properly raise a puppy. This consists of willingness & preparation for continued puppy training, veterinary appts for vaccines, tons of exercise and mental stimulation, and a commitment to "forever".

$500 tax deductible adoption donation includes: first DHPP vaccine, dewormers, microchip, flea/tick/heartworm prevention.

** These puppies are being adopted out with a spay/neuter addendum stating the pet will be fixed by 5 months of age for an optional $150 reimbursement of your donation**

CAROL & BRUCE are being fostered in East County San Diego.

Why adoption is a great option

Puppy Carol, a Davis Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Davis, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Davis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davis paves the way for another one to be saved.
