My story

This is good gal Riri! Riri is a 1-year-old female mini Korean Jindo mix that weighs about 14 pounds, and she comes to us from the Gyeongsang-do city shelter. Riri is very social, especially with humans, and is very curious about all the sounds and smells of the city. Her favorite things are chew toys and belly rubs! Riri will do best with someone who can provide structure, consistency, and lots of love. Sound like you? Apply to adopt!

Why adoption is a great option

Riri, a LONG ISLAND CITY Jindo dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jindo for sale in LONG ISLAND CITY, or seeking a Jindo dog from a breeder in LONG ISLAND CITY.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in LONG ISLAND CITY already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a LONG ISLAND CITY breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jindo breeders who help with Jindo rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in LONG ISLAND CITY paves the way for another one to be saved.
