My story

Hey there, I'm Cap!
I'm a cute fella with an even bigger personality! I was a street dog in Georgia for the first few months of my life and even spent some time with a dog therapist while I was down there, but it is finally time for me to find my forever home! The staff here at KVHS has been working on confidence building and socialization with me and I am doing so well. I even learned that greeting people with jumps and kisses is the way to treats! I do need a home that will continue this training with me so I can be the best boy. I also need my home to understand that due to my fearfulness, I am more likely to run away than most dogs.
I need a home with no one under 16 is a must and they must be dog savvy/respectful. As for dogs, I have been successful with a couple here but it has taken a few interactions for me to initiate play with them.
I find kitties to be scary, so if you have cats they should already be familiar with dogs. Will you be the home to find out if I prefer Saturday morning cartoons or the Sunday morning comics? Please stop by KVHS with all human and canine household members and bring lots of Pup-Peroni (Cap's personal favorite)!
