My name is Rebel!

Rebel is a huge purebred German Shepherd, neutered and healthy at @ 8 years old. He was adopted and loved by his owner, who unexpectedly passed away and loyal Rebel protected his home until the only other person he trusted came to get him (his owners grandson). Sadly the grandson could not keep Rebel, so he was returned to the rescue. Rebel is a great dog, very calm and laid back, obedient and well mannered. He is good with other friendly dogs. He is protective of his owner and property, and is not friendly with strangers approaching him. Once he gets to know someone though, he is sweet and loving. Housebroken and perfectly behaved. He is very large so needs someone who can handle him and he should be muzzled at the vet and in public.
