Bessie is a 14 week old, approx. 20 lb, Australian Shepherd mix. Her mom is a purebred aussie, but dad is unknown, though we think he is part beagle. She is a friendly, intelligent little girl. She hasn’t met a stranger, be it human or canine. Bessie greets everyone with a wagging tail. She gets along well with all dogs that she has met, big and small. She loves to play with toys, especially balls.

Bessie is familiar with her crate and is going in on her own throughout the day when she wants to take a quiet nap. At night, Bessie settles down within a couple of minutes and has slept from 9 PM until 6 AM.

Bessie loves to cuddle with her human several times a day if possible. She is a sweetheart and uses those beautiful puppy-dog eyes to win your heart in a hurry. She does well when it is feeding time and doesn’t mind eating next to the bigger dogs. She joins right in to play with the bigger dogs as well.

She is doing well with potty training. She enjoys a car ride any chance she can get one. She does very well on a leash.

Bessie is an easy keeper in many ways and will give you all the love she can in exchange for a happy, playful life.
