My story

Deacon is a happy dog with a super sweet demeanor.  He loves his female doggy friends and is gentle with the human kiddos.

Deacon is a clown of sorts and loves good morning eye rubs.  You’ll never need an alarm clock because Deacon doesn’t fail to let you know when it’s time for you to get up and feed him.  He’s very quiet in his crate and knows when it’s time to kennel up.  He needs a little work with pulling on the leash at first but settles in quickly for a nice, pleasant walk.  He’s not a big fan of car rides but accepts them graciously.  Also not a fan of indoor stairs but we’re working on that.

If you like dreamy eyes and lots of kisses, Deacon is ready to give them all up.

More about this rescue

Welcome! MABBR was created by a group of bully breed enthusiasts to save these delightful but often misunderstood dogs. Not only does MABBR rescue and find homes for homeless bull breeds such as American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, American Bulldogs, Bull Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Bull Mastiffs, mixed breeds, and other Mollasser-type dogs, MABBR also focuses on education, outreach, and assisting cities with drafting safer and more effective breed-neutral dangerous dog laws.
