Moose was born on Christmas day in 2010 and is 11 years old. He is a bit chunky, but not obese. He weighs about 17 pounds.

Moose is a very good boy that spent a lot of time outside at his former home due to marking issues. His foster mom reports that he has not had any potty issues there, but did wear a belly band when he first arrived.

He is very quiet. I think we heard him bark twice. He would be best as an only dog but would probably be okay with another laid-back dog as long as they are not in his face. He is slightly food aggressive, so he eats separately from the other dogs. He loves to snuggle once he gets attached to his person. He loves burrowing under blankets too.

He does not really play. Not with toys, not with the other dogs. He's very chill. Ideally, he'd like a quiet home where his person is with him as much as possible. He probably would prefer to be the only dog, but doesn't mind other dogs who respect his personal space. He is still a little nervous around men.

Moose is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and heartworm negative. He is located in the St. Louis area, his adoption fee is $150.
