My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cane Corso/Mastiff

Meet Zyan

This handsome 4 year old Cane Corso is an all-around amazing dog and companion. When he loves, he loves hard and will be your shadow. He has many favorite activities, but one of them is outside time. If you like to garden or be in your yard, Zyan will be right next to you sunbathing until you are finished. He can play or relax, either is fine with him, as long as he is with his people. Since he is still young, he does need toys, bully sticks, and regular walks to burn off energy and maintain a healthy weight. An active person or family with a fenced yard would be best for him.

Looking for slobbery kisses? If so, Zyan is your man. He is a very affectionate dog, so be prepared for A LOT of cuddling and someone following you everywhere.  Since he thinks he is a lap dog, you may have to remind him of his size because he is SURE that he fits in your lap (He can try, right?).

His fosters said “he is a guard dog to his core and there might be times where he barks a lot, which is something you have to get used to, but he has gotten better with this”. He is obedient, housetrained (his current fosters say he has never had a single accident) and not possessive over toys or food. He is very good at letting his fosters know when he has to go outside and is also non-destructive. He is a kind soul, but very strong, large and a rough player, so a home with small children would not be a fit for him.

Zyan is neutered, up-t-date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped and on monthly prevention. His adoption fee is $300.
