My story

Medium Size (35#) Friendly Girl!

There’s lots of nominees for “favorite Penny”.
However, our choice is an EASY one! Our Penny also happens to be about as EASY as it comes! She’s good on leash, crate trained, potty trained, dog-friendly, kid-friendly, playful, sweet, cuddly… we could go on and on.
We feel like the lucky ones that she’s ours and we KNOW her future family will feel the same!
Penny would love a wide open space to lay about and in which she can run run run! She can live with friendly doggie friends or she can be an only (no cats or other prey type animals). Penny would make a wonderful addition to any loving family. (She’s only 35/40#!)
Heads- she’s your new favorite child.
Tails- she’s your new best friend.
Either way, Penny is a winner!

Why adoption is a great option

Penny - Adopted!, a Tampa Whippet dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Whippet for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Whippet dog from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Whippet breeders who help with Whippet rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
