My story

MAXX & ME PET RESCUE adoptable dogs

Blonde German Shepherd

RUGER - Blonde German Shepherd

*Bonded pair with his brother, Rocco - see additional post!*

.
ROCCO & RUGER are best buds and have been together their whole lives. Sadly, they were recently left behind by their family when they moved out of state.
.
.
RUGER is a purebred blonde German Shepherd and is sweet as pie. He is a typical GSD and sometimes anxious, vocal and wants ALL of the attention on him (Pet me pleassseee!!)
.
.
ROCCO is a Catahoula/Husky mix and the laid back one of the pair. He’s fine letting Ruger have the attention and will probably just fall asleep next to you. The two of them are sweet, affectionate, loving, have lived with children, ride good in the car and Ruger loves his crate. They are such a joy to be around.
.
.
Other than both of them being slightly arthritic in their back ends, you would not know that they are seniors. They are definitely young at heart and can play all day. They love playing at doggy daycare!
.
.
Rocco & Ruger would love to have a fenced yard, but they can be leash walked or enjoy time on a screened patio in the right home. They also need people that are home often. They are both neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, up-to-date on vaccines and on prevention.
.
.
They need an IMMEDIATE FOSTER home or a foster-to-adopt/FOREVER home.  To foster or adopt this pair, please complete an application at maxxandme.org. Follow up with an email to maxxandmerescue@gmail.com to confirm receipt of your application.

Due to the volume of emails we receive we do our best to respond however we can not respond to all inquiries. If your application is approved we will contact you. The first step if you are interested in one of our rescue dogs is to submit an adoption application available at www.maxxandme.org Once your application is approved which involves a vet check, personal references, home checks, phone/email exchange with one of our volunteers we then will set up a meet/greet with the rescue pet if available. We do not set up any meet/greets without an approved application. Please understand we sometimes have multiple applications received for the same rescue dog.
