Popeye’s MUST have wish list is for a home with a fenced yard to play in. His birthday is 10/26/2015 and he is around 55 lbs. He loves spending time in his foster family's fenced yard He does walk fairly well on a leash, but the beagle in him likes to do a lot of sniffing on his walks. He is also hoping that his new family likes to give lots of belly rubs, he loves to be petted and melts into the floor belly up. He last wish is for his very own family to love him. He is high energy, and takes a little bit to settle down and learn his new environment. He needs to be in a home with no children. He fixates on fluffy toys or any small toys and needs an experienced handler that can redirect his attention when needed. He does ok with other larger dogs that are not dominant, but he would prefer to be the only dog to get all your attention. So - a home with Popeye being an only dog would be ideal. He just wants to bounce around and play or will ignore most other dogs if they don’t show an interest in him. No Small dogs, cats or young children. Dog savvy adults only preferred.
