Ruby is an 8-9 year old lab mix looking for a new home without kids. Ruby is a wonderful dog, she is calm, sweet, loving and is known in a home. She is potty trained and crated trained (though probably doesn’t need a crate). Her ideal home would be a quiet, adults only home with no other animals or kids. You see when she there are other animals, people she doesn’t know or kiddos around they make her nervous and she guards food and resources from them. Her family has worked with her to try to make keeping her a possibility, but it just isn’t the best situation for anyone as Ruby is kept away from the kids and vice versa. The no other dogs/animals is again as she will guard resources from them. She is fine going for walks (ie won’t bother other dogs) and has some doggie friends she plays with. We know that a no kids, dogs, cats home is a tough ask but we know Ruby is worth it.

Requirements: No kids. No other pets

Adoption Fee: $350 + tax. This includes neuter/spay, current vaccinations as age appropriate, heartworm/tick testing in dogs over 8 months of age, deworming, microchip and current Heartgard and Nexgard preventatives.
