Meet Dixie! This sweet girl is a 2 year old Dachsund mix. She has been around people of all ages; but can be shy sometimes when meeting new people but is always ready to meet another dog friend. She is curious of cats and has even made friends with them. Dixie is very energetic and loves to play and will chew on anything she is given. She loves to play in the water and enjoys being held. She knows how to sit and is crate trained. She likes to bark and will dig in the yard. She likes to chase small animals like lizards and birds. For more information on how to adopt, please call the shelter to see if this pet is still available for adoption. Then come to the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 10:30-6 Tuesday – Saturday (closed 1-2 for lunch and the last Friday of every month).
