Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I HAVE UNTIL ~mid-September to find my new home with/without Trento.
Meet Miccia (pronounced Meecha). I’m a diluted calico, born 8/1/2019, spayed, and litter-trained.
Our family is in a desperate situation and we are willing to help finance the transition of our dad’s furry friends to forever home(s). He has Alzheimer's Disease and had a stroke a couple of years ago. After a recent ER visit, hospitalization, rehab, and COVID, he was unable to return to his independent cottage, and has moved (permanently) to a personal care home.
Miccia: I'm a bit quirky and would probably do best with no other pets - or a laid back cat like Trento. When you sit on a sofa, I’ll press against you until you pet/brush me and I’ll purr all over you. I was a "catch and release" stray, and was so emaciated, that my new family thought I was a kitten when I showed up. I can be a bit anxious, but my vet gave me compounded amitriptyline to manage it.
