Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We adopted Chicory from a rescue in Chicago in 2016 and she has been an integral part of our family since.
Chicory is 6yo and 30 lb, energetic, playful, smart, and goofy. When we moved to the Bay Area in 2019, she discovered her true loves of playing fetch at the park, hiking, and zooming after evening walks. However much she likes to adventure, Chicory also enjoys a good belly rub, snuggle session, and will curl up next to you night after night. She knows basic commands (sit, stay, wait, come) and walks well on a leash.
Chicory needs a home where she can be the center of attention. Though she does great at daycare, she is wary of other dogs when out on walks. Chicory is exceptionally anxious around young children/babies, but has never been aggressive with them.
Our ideal family for Chicory is one with no (or preteen+) children and no other pets. She would do best in a home where she can get lots of exercise and play.
