My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gravy is ready to meet her people! She would be okay with kids, but needs older kids (10+) since she’s pretty fragile. Gravy would do best with another dog to play with, and she would love a little dog proof fenced in yard!

Lil miss Gravy came to us a couple of weeks ago from a massive owner surrender situation. These dogs were not socialized, and were not given the chance to learn how to be a normal dog - however - she’s learning SUPER quickly!!

Gravy is around 2 years old, maybe 5lbs max, and is thought to be a schnauzer/poodle mix. She has the softest little curls; she LOVES other dogs, loves walks, loves to play and roll in her bed on the blankets! She is SMART and is learning potty training pretty quickly, but is not housetrained yet, but with consistency, she should be there in no time!

Gravy was extremely timid and basically a cute little statue for the first few days at her foster home, but now she wiggles and wags and gets super excited to see her foster mom! Though with new people, she still shows a little stranger danger and cowers or hides for just a few minutes - but her FOMO brings her back around pretty quickly.

She sleeps in bed with her foster mom all night like a good girl with no accidents!

She also needs someone willing to be patient with her and finish her potty training. She does okay in a crate if you’re gone, but if you’re home and she knows it, she wants to be with you and barks - so she may do best in a home that’s not attached to others (apartments/townhomes).
