My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lucy (aka Bootsy) We're a little unsure of her past, but what we are sure of is that she is very insecure and will need lots of socialization with new people and animals. She seems to fear men and cling to women, so she may have come from an abusive household. She was recently taken out of board and train and put into her new foster home where she seems to be slowly coming out of her shell. She currently lives with 2 older German shepherds and a Chihuahua and she does great with them. A proper meet and greet would be recommend with new dogs. She would probably do best in a home with older kids. She needs a strong pack leader that will set boundaries with her. She is extremely smart, knows basic commands, loves toys and does well on walks.

A meet and greet and interview with the trainer is a requirement, as is continued training, regular grooming, and a home with a yard. Bootsy is a beautiful dog that has a lot of potential but she is not for a beginner pet owner, please do not apply if you are not fully committed to making her a member of your family for the rest of her life.
