If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We adopted Milton about two years ago through MuddyPaws NYC and he will be turning 5 years old in March 2023. Milton has a lot of anxiety and fears, but once he is acclimated, he is the sweetest dog who loves cuddling. It takes Milton some time to get used to new people and environment, but he is a very intelligent dog who learns quickly. Since he's been with us, we have worked with a professional dog trainer who helped us help Milton manage his anxiety and work with his aggression towards other dogs that we encounter while walking. Milton is house-trained and we use a wee pad.
We are currently looking for a loving, low-energy home for Milton, as we recently had a baby and Milton has been having a hard time adjusting to this change. We are looking for him to find his forever home that has no other pets or small children and with an owner who is patient and willing to work with his anxiety.
