HISTORY:
Goldfish came to us from a citizen who was trying to support the friendly stray cats in their area.

ABOUT:
Goldfish is an attention loving, curious, goofball kitten. He will go to great lengths to get your attention and will often follow you around “puppy dog” style. He loves both attention, and interactive play. Once he is tuckered out he loves to fall into your lap for some snuggles. If you’re busy doing something else he will get the zoomies and run past you 200 times until you can’t help but notice him, or he will find ways to “join” your activities such as chasing the litter scoop while you’re cleaning his box.

Goldfish is not being fostered with any children, but because he is gentle and confident, we think he would adapt well. Goldfish has become very confident with the resident large breed dog so will do well in homes with friendly dogs.

We generally recommend that kittens be adopted into homes in pairs (when available) or into a home with another playful cat so that they have someone to play with to help keep them out of mischief. Goldfish would probably love being adopted into a home with a social cat or dog, but we think he would be ok as an only pet as long as his adoptive family is committed to giving him the attention and enrichment that kittens require.
