My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Phoebe is a 5-6 year old, 50lbs pit mix. Absolutely loves people and is incredibly snuggly. Ideal family/person will give her insane amounts of attention and cuddles. She should be the only pet with no small children in the house.
We got her from a shelter in 2019 not knowing the extent of her behavioral issues. She is randomly aggressive toward random dogs and has separation anxiety – so if you work from home or retired – she might just be the companion you’re looking for.
We have worked with her at a professional trainer for a year and she had improved. Then we had a baby and we could not continue to train her consistently, so she has regressed. Her anxiety has been increased as well with a screaming and running toddler everywhere.
Quick Facts:
- She is spayed and up to date on shots.
- Fully house trained
- Good in the car
- No food aggression
- Not sensitive to loud noises (fireworks, thunderstorms)
- Generally pretty mellow and mid-energy. She would just prefer to relax with her human
- She loves playing fetch
- Forcefully requests pets with headbutts
- Lives for belly rubs
- Will do just about anything for cheese. In face we had to stop using it for training as she wouldn't focus on anything else.
One medical issue - she has a thyroid imbalance that makes the fur fall out on her flanks. It is managed by fairly cheap medication (around $20 a month).
We will include all her toys, remaining food, treats, bed, collar, and leash.
