My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Butter is a 2-year-old Spitz, Retriever mix who is only 24 lbs and came into the city shelter as a "stray."
Very emaciated and uncared for, but sweet and gentle. Cannot be neutered until he gains some weight. Currently being cared for and boarded at vet.
We would like to get a jump on potential adoptive home, so Butter can have loving place to go after fattening up and other care at vet. If interested in this horribly neglected, but gentle/sweet and "soft as butter" dog, please call us at (212) 427-8273.
