Here's what the humans have to say about me:
The so-called runt of the litter, Abby was the first to open her eyes and has always been the first to figure things out. She seems to be the smartest of her littermates, and she is very interested in people. If she’s not climbing in your lap, she likes splashing in puddles or wrestling with her larger siblings. Abby will be a great dog for someone interested in obedience training or dog sports as her attention to people will make her easy to train. (the last pic is the mother0
Puppies were born in a horse barn and have been raised in a large stall. They’ve been handled since birth by kids and adults, and special effort was made to provide early neurological stimulation. Since about 3 weeks of age, they’ve been exposed to our household dogs, cats, and horses.
Starting at 5 weeks of age, we’ve brought each puppy into our house on a rotating schedule to learn crate training and household routines away from their litter mates. All puppies are starting to learn potty training through multiple daily walks, though obviously they are much too young to be housebroken. Puppies are also learning to walk on a leash and learning appropriate chew objects. They enjoy car rides.
These are all very friendly, playful, people-focused puppies, and we will continue socializing and training them until they go to their new homes.
They are all good with kids and other dogs, though naturally, they will need continued socialization throughout their development period.
