Teddy is in a home on our foster-to-adopt program.

Dear little Teddy was taken to the shelter when his owner died. He is the sweetest little boy, but he looks so sad. We are sure he misses his mom. He loves, loves, loves to be around people and will just lie near you if you are working, reading or otherwise engaged. He's no bother at all, just a quiet, sweet soul.

He appears to be house-trained (we haven't had him long enough to know for sure, and of course we always tell new adopters that they should help their new friend get used to the routine before assuming they won't have accidents). He is, sadly, about twice the size he should be, so we have him on a diet to lose weight. He needs a bit of exercise, but not too much as he is a senior. But a yard to wander in during the day (with you there if you live in coyote territory, please), or short walks up the block and back will help him tone up while he gets in shape.

Teddy would make a fine companion for someone who is looking for a pal to just hang out with -- that's all he wants in life.
