ABOUT:
Sourdough is a natural social butterfly. He wants to meet everyone (human and animal) and be their friend. He never chooses to be alone and will thrive in a home with an existing pet(s) who are equally friendly and ready to play. He loves people and his foster mom thinks he will grow up to be a great snuggle buddy. He loves to run and play with the other animals but will occasionally break off to check on the humans to see if they are still home, then will take off running again to rejoin the action. Sourdough loves toys and is not picky – just about anything can be fun if you use your imagination.

Sourdough is friendly so we think he will be happy to live with children, as long as they are old enough to understand that kittens sometimes play with teeth and claws. Sourdough does great with other cats and wanted to play the minute he arrived at his foster home. Sourdough is completely comfortable with the resident dogs and will play with them, so any dogs he lives with will need to be ready for some interaction from time-to-time.

We require that kittens be adopted into homes in pairs (when available) or into a home with another playful, interactive cat so that they have someone to play with to help keep them stimulated and out of mischief. We also think a playful cat-friendly dog would be an acceptable playmate for him.
