Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lexie is one of those dogs who loves to be petted by her human and never wants you to stop. In fact, if you do stop, she touches your hand with her paw and tries to pull it back to her. It's like she's saying "Um, excuse me, I didn't say u could stop". Lol She is shy at first and needs a slow introduction to people and dogs, but is very loving once she gets to know you. She will be loyal and protective of the family who chooses her. Lexie loves to run and play fetch and is both leash and potty trained.

If you want to meet a pup in person, Once Upon a Tail Rescue does adoption events at PetSmart in Covington, LA on most Saturdays with many of our adoptable dogs there.
Don't forget to complete your application ahead of time, so you don't miss out on the pup you've connected with. If pre-approved, you have first priority & can usually take home your new best friend the same day!
*Please note that there is no obligation to adopt by completing an application.*
**All dogs are required to have complete vet services, including shots, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip, which are included in the Adoption Fee. Some dogs may still require completion of these services due to current age, size, breed and/or health. All vet services must be done at the vet clinic used by Once Upon a Tail Rescue.
