Scared, Sweet Choc Lab

Sweet Whiskey ♥

Whiskey and her sister, Rye, came in together as a very scared and unsocialized pair. Sweet as pie, but don't know that the world is okay and humans are here to love them, but they are learning. They are retired breeder dogs who we presume were kept as outdoor dogs and are now loving inside life and air conditioning. Rye has gone to a foster-to-adopt home, while sweet Whiskey still awaits hers.

She needs a quiet, loving home that will let her open up slowly. Her ideal home has a secure 6ft fenced yard, adults only and another friendly dog (or dogs) that can be her buddy and show her the ropes. She is currently at a doggy daycare playing with many other dogs and feels most comfortable with them. They have shared with us that she will do 'drive by kisses' and gently nudge or lick your hand or leg as she walks past you as a way of saying 'hello!' in her own way. Our sweet girl is getting there :-)

Whiskey has been spayed, is up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped and on monthly prevention.

All dogs posted are available (so no need to ask). We place dogs based on best home for each dog and not order of applications received.
