My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gary is one and a half years old and needs a forever home. He’s a perfect little Jack Russell Terrier boy. Friendly, frisky, happy, energetic, and playful. He is completely vetted and chipped. We hope that his owner will be home at least part of the day. He is not a couch potato and will need someone to walk, jog, hike, bike, or play with toys, and keep him entertained and exercised. Gary needs someone who has a secure fence. No chain link because he can climb it. No wrought iron because he can go through it. No electronic fencing. Also, an apartment is not the right place for him. Gary requires a home with no kiddos, cats or little critters. Having another dog is fine. But, it needs to be young enough to be able to play with Gary. A small elderly dog will not be a fit. A home visit and a good vet reference are mandatory to adopt him. His adopter will need to drive to the Austin/Lampasas, Texas area to get him.
