My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Darling Darcy

Darcy is an adorable Terrier of sorts, weighing just under 20 lbs and estimated to be about 5 years old.

Poor Darcy and her 4 canine housemates (including Rico) found themselves at the local pound when their human passed away and the adult kids simply dumped them. They were absolutely terrified. However once arriving at our foster home, Darcy and friend Rico (not bonded) both felt safe, their confidence returned, and began to come out of their shell and enjoy the company of other dogs in the home.

Darcy is a sweet girl who would do well with or without another dog in the home. She enjoys people and the attention they shower her with and definitely prefers an adult home. Darcy has a bit of a limp which has been checked out by our veterinarians. It does not however get in the way of her jumping up on the sofa or bed, or playing with her friends.

Darcy is up-to-date on all vet care and vaccinations, is heartworm negative and on year-round heartworm prevention, spayed and microchipped. It is very important to provide Darcy with a joint supplement (glucosamine/chondroitin/MSM) to help with her bones and joints.

If you are interested in adding this sweet girl to your family, please contact BAARKDogRescue@gmail.com or 847-852-0895.
