Ruger takes a little time to warm up to some people, but once he gets to know you, he loves you! He will need lots of love and patience in a calm home without small children. He has been dog-selective at the shelter, but he is getting along well with a smaller female dog in his foster home. Apply to adopt this boy now!

Thanks to the EnviroFlight Fur-ever Home Adoption Sponsorship Program, the adoption fee is $40 for adult dogs and $60 for puppies under the age of 6 months. The adoption fee includes vaccinations, flea/tick treatment, dewormer, and spay/neuter. Please check each dog's profile for sponsored, discounted, and/or $0 adoption fees. If you adopt an unaltered dog, you must agree to have the animal spayed/neutered at the veterinarian of your choice as soon as possible and within 3 months of adoption. We ask that the animal will be kept as a pet and treated humanely after adoption.
