Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello there, I’m Susie Q. I’m a spunky red long-haired 14-year-old Chiweenie, weighing 9 lbs. I’m a pretty laid back, yet no-nonsense, kinda gal, who will speak her mind if it’s needed. I like to lie in the sun, go for a walk, run errands with my foster mom, snuggle in the big rocking chair, and sleep at night amidst the stuff animals and blankies in my very large crate. If given the chance, I’d love to sleep in the big bed. I do well with going outside to go potty, however I need to be reminded frequently that it’s time to go outside for my potty break. I’m very loving and hope to spend some time just cuddling with my new family. I get along with small dogs that are middle age or older and about my size, but I don’t know how I’d do with cats, as I’ve never been around them. If you are at home with me most of the time, I’d be okay by myself for a little bit while you’re out. But if I’m left alone very much at all, I definitely need an older doggie friend to hang out with. I’m up to date on all my shots, am heartworm negative, on heartworm and flea preventative, spayed, microchipped, de-wormed, and had a dental. Susie Q’s adoption fee is $250. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport. WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. If you're looking for a very sweet and lovable gal to join your family, please fill out an application on AAP’s website.
