Helloooo! My name is Louie, and I am a beautiful Pit mix. Check out my eyes! I also have a super cute, short, kinked tail. I know sit, down, wait, and more. And I love walks.

I do have a few challenges that my friends here at HOPE are helping me with. My previous hoomans didn’t train me out of the puppy oral stage, so when I get excited I nip at my friends. I don’t mean anything bad by it, and my new friends are starting to teach me not to do it. Also, I really don’t like it when anyone pulls at my collar. And if you raise your voice, I get more elevated and excited.

So all that means that I need someone who can calmly and consistently help me learn to stay calm. I am great when my friends here at HOPE take me out in public. I’ve never met a person that isn’t a friend. And I do great on a leash. But at this point I probably need a family without children under 12. I may love them a bit too much.
