Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lucy was found abandoned, malnourished, and likely abused (her eyebrows were burned) by me at the lake in October 2018. I took her in. And I love her tremendously! She’s the best dog. She adjusted well. However, she’s always appeared a little sad. Once my 3-yo granddaughter said: “Why does Lucy always look so sad?” A year ago, I divorced and 6months ago, due to divorce, I had to move from a 4,000 sq ft house with sprawling yard, to a very tiny apartment in DFW with no yard. She longs to be outside. Lately, I can barely get her to go out at all. I can’t walk her because it’s right on a busy highway. I want more for her! It’s breaking my heart. I’d like her to go to a home with children and a big yard to run in. She’s coming upon 6 years, by vets estimation. She’s amazing with kids, and particularly LOVES cats. Also, good with dogs. Everyone really. She’s never met a stranger!
