My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tye is so sweet! He’s such a sad sack, walking around like a little old man. When he’s scared he rolls right over on his back. Tye is only about 3-4 years old, 11 lbs., seems housebroken and crate trained. He really needs to go to a home with another dog around his size, preferably a happy- go-lucky one that he can follow around and learn to copy his behavior.

Because he’s very fearful, he must go to a home with someone who is extra careful with him to make sure he won’t bolt out the door if spooked. He really benefits from having a leash dragging whenever he is out so you can get a hold of him without having to chase him and freak him out. He has no issues with cats (besides being scared of them).

Tye lived in a small wooden box for years and was not familiar with any affection at all . His life was horrible. He was exposed to NOTHING, yet is the most gentle innocent little thing. His leash walking is also a work in progress and his new person needs to continue to help him with this. Tye doesn’t play with toys yet but loves snacks. He’s fine with other dogs but hasn’t learned to play yet. Tye needs a home where his new family will give him all the time and patience he needs until he feels comfortable.
