Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Doc, formerly known as Tock Tock. Someone shot him & filled him full of pellets (check 9L page for his story on intake), but that didn’t stop him. Those pellets caused some issues, one of which was his ability to walk. Luckily, he overcame his temporary paralysis & he does just fine now. His walk has a slight wobble to it, & he doesn’t move his tail a lot (he can, he just doesn’t) but he doesn’t mind. He is estimated to be between 1-2 years old, quite a rough start for such a sweet boy!

He is a very loving boy who just wants a few things in life; snacks, attention, a clipboard to help with his supervision duties, & a kind loving home to call his own forever. His foster parents absolutely love him, but know he deserves more than they can give him. About his requests, he is great with everyone. I mean everyone! Stranger, puppy, kid, paralyzed dog, cat, kittens, you name it.

We think he would do well with an older, considerate kid due to his injuries he moves a bit slower than most) to supervise. He loves to help his foster mom with projects in the floor & enjoys sitting nearby while she is busy doing stuff around the house. He enjoys watching the birds & napping in various spots around the house as well. He wouldn’t mind being alpha, but he’s okay with being the alpha sidekick. He likes to cuddle near you, like above you on the couch or on a blanket next to you within arms reach.
