URGENT! CANCER PATIENT DESPERATE! NEED HOME OR FOSTER YESTERDAY!
My name is Louise. I am writing because I don’t know where else to turn. I have 2 wonderful special needs cats (need only special food, about $30 per cat per month) that I can no longer care for. I have loved and cared for them as if they were my children for the past 5 years. (I have cancer and am staying with friends while undergoing treatment and cannot have the cats in their home.) My estranged husband is no longer willing or capable of caring for the “girls” -- they are currently in his apartment. Originally I was given a month to find them a home, but now I need to find fosters or homes for them by Monday or have something lined up by that time. I have advertised them on Craigslist, at my vet’s office, and at the pet supply stores in my neighborhood. I will not take Pretty and Sophie to a kill shelter. Can you help me in finding fosters or homes for my cats Pretty and Sophie?

She will chew all exposed electrical cords unless they are wrapped in aluminum foil.

Extremely friendly with a loud purr. The ultimate lap cat. She jumps in your lap or begs to be picked up and placed on your lap every time you sit down. She will sleep on a lap for hours. Very playful.
