Hello there –

My name is KITTY and I love my name. I am not too sure what happened to me in my past life, but I ended up at my foster mom and dad's home. It's busy here with their two labs and five other cats but I got the TV room to myself and have my foster parents with me all evening long while they watch tv or my foster mom sews. During the day, I hang out on the windowsill checking out the hot tub and garden. There is a stranger cat who sleeps on the hot tub cover, and I am curious about him along with the birds. I love a good square meal and snacking all day long, too, which is not the healthiest combination. I know how to beg for scraps of food and do understand no – reluctantly. I have lost a pound at my foster moms. She is a controlling helicopter mom. So now I am on a healthier diet! I love to follow her around, sleeping next to her or on her lap.

I was told I am a ragdoll mix. Last week, the lady who gave me a sanitary shave and a mani-pedi said I was definitely part Maine Coon since I do a lot of twirling and she thought I was part Siberian because I have PERFECT hair with hardly any dander. Yesterday, I went and saw a new vet for a check, and he said I was just darn sweet. I am healthy even though I am known as a senior, I will not be having any babies – so that is very comforting for anyone one who is into cat population control. And I am very svelte, happy and gorgeous. I would do well as an only pet!

My foster mom says I am spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. They say that's good!

I currently live with my foster family in San Rafael.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats (like me) with qualified adopters who will cherish me and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you're my perfect adopter please explain why in the comments section of my Adoption Application, and contact Sally at merz135@aol.com If you are unable to reach Sally please email info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!
