My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cassidy joined the rescue from St. Louis County Animal Control. He was brought there by his family after they learned he would need surgery. Cassidy had a bad hip and required FHO (femoral head ostectomy) surgery. He has gone through that surgery while in the rescue. He has a follow up appointment for a redo of this procedure. If that does not seem like it will work he’ll get his leg amputated with us. Once either of these procedures happen (surgery will happen sept 9) he’ll begin rehab and will be ready for his forever home!

Cassidy is a super sweet and petite boy. He does great with kids and other dogs. His current foster home has an elderly chihuahua in it that he does well with…. tough for a young pup we know! As a bonus Cassidy is already potty trained.
