Additional adoption info

We require an adoption application and home check for our animals to ensure their safety. Adoption fees start at $400 fee that includes spay/neuter, vaccines and microchip. For breeds like chis, pits and senior dogs, we may offer a reduced fee to help promote the adoption of pet in the shelter overpopulation (at the discretion of the rescue).

Go meet their pets

We have adoption events and most of our pets are presented in individual meet and greets to promote a calm environment.

More about this rescue

OUR MISSION
ScratchMyBelly.org was founded to support rescues that save animals from Southern California high kill shelter and Mexico street animals.

Our goal is to help raise funds to rehabilitate the neglected, injured and sick. In addition, we will also help perfectly healthy animals in a partnership with other rescues, in order to find them forever homes.
