Pumpkin is a Pug/Chihuahua Mix. She's 8 years old and weighs approximately 20 pounds. She is crate trained, house broken, and does well with Children over 5. She appears to not be phased by cats. She was all around them at Hope for Life and didn't seem to care. She had not been exposed to cats prior. She has been an only dog for several years, but she did fine Sunday walking with all my group and hanging on the beach. She's responsive to basic obedience commands and comes straight away when whistled for. She's a BIG lap dog. She will climb into ANY stranger's lap for hugs and affection. Her owner, an elderly woman with health problems turned her in because she had to move and couldn't take her with her. This dog would watch her owner sleep. Literally. She was very very attached to her owner. She appears very gentle, not hyper in anyway. She'd make any EXCELLENT pet with very little effort. Thanks for helping! Mary. 2624904259 or 757-583-1933
