My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

NOT a Rainbow Dog. Please contact Frankstersmom@aol.com
This is Ruby.  She is a 8-9 yr old American Staffordshire Terrier.  She is current on all vaccines and spayed.  She is housebroken.  Ruby is calm in her manner, not the typical high energy of a young Am Staff, but playful.  If you were to meet her, her eagerness to play ball, ride in the car, (which she does beautifully) the way she prances on her walks all belies her age.  This breed of dog usually will have a life expectancy of about 14yrs.
She weighs 48lbs. She is trimmed in white with the prettiest bold tiger striping in her tan coat.  Her ears are adorable. A wagging tail that never stops.
I had the pleasure of meeting this dog today. I spent a good while with her.  While walking, she walked a perfect loose leash heel, she knows some of her basic commands.  A very intelligent dog, quickly learning knew tasks.  She is a people dog.  Loves attention.  Eager to please.  She is currently in a foster home where even the neighbors came out to tell me what a good dog she is.  Ruby's story is a little sad, in that, she had a home for a long time. A home she adored.  The child member of her home developed allergies to her and she was taken to Animal Control. A kind dog rescuer, seeing her wonderful potential, rescued her to give her a second chance. Dog lovers are a unique group onto themselves.  Once in a life time we may get the chance to step in during the Autumn years of a dogs life and make a difference, when so many will pass her by and miss out on a truly golden opportunity to experience the best dog ever.  If your looking for a dog that is past the typical 'got to have exercise all time stage' but still has LOTS of play, loving, and companionship or if you just want to talk about her, please contact Frankstersmom@aol.comMay 12, 2024, 12:02 am
