Hi, my name is Spike but only because “shadow” was taken. You see, there is no privacy when I am around because I love to follow my foster momma around. Lucky for you, I am looking for a permanent home with a person to call mine!

A little about my background. I was found by a good Samaritan who brought me to an animal shelter. This animal shelter people were really nice but had a lot of other cats. They reached out to my friends at Pawprint’s Animal Rescue and my foster momma agreed to get me the heck outta there! It took some time, but I learned to trust her and with that, I am slowly learning to trust other humans too! I really need someone to continue to reassure me that humans are my friends.

I love to play, especially with the other foster kitties. They are tad smaller than me, so sometimes I can be a little rough with them. In my new home, id love an equally playful companion that will help keep me entertained and make me feel secure. That and a BUNCH of toys because I love them all! I have not yet met “dogs” or “kids” but think if they are very dog savvy and keep their distance, I may be okay with time and patience. My foster mom says I have an award-winning purr and that easily make me worth my weight in gold. If you think you are ready to commit to me, I can promise I am ready to commit to you!

Our goal is to save as many lives as we can by saving all breeds of dog and cats that are at risk of euthanasia in area shelters. With the help of an amazing group of volunteers, all animals are fostered in loving homes until they are adopted.

Cats >12 months $50
Puppies <1 year $350
