My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Handsome Hershey is a very shy, kind and wonderful boy! He appreciates gentle handling, and is looking for an adopter with previous experience owning a dog, who can help boost his confidence. This gentle soul is worth getting to know. Since arriving at the shelter Hershey is learning to walk on leash and enjoys playing with other gentle dogs and spending time with volunteers. Hershey may do well in a home with other calm dogs, who can help him adjust to his new surroundings but they would have to meet first. Treats and toys are just one way to this boy's heart. Having a reserved disposition, this sweet boy is looking for a quiet, patient home. If there are to be children in the home, they should be older teens who have been around dogs before. More about this shelter

Since our founding in 1912, the Worcester Animal Rescue League (WARL) has been dedicated to the care of the animals who provide so much for their human companions. Without your support, however, nothing we do would be possible. WARL is a non-profit organization and your donations of money, time, supplies, homes, and love are vital to our cause and the lives of the animals in our care. Our sincerest thanks.
