My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

These two sweet little ladies are both bobtail calicos. We are hoping that they can be adopted together due to how attached they are to each other. Tessa is much more outgoing, but Missy is a bit more apprehensive, and she looks to Tessa for emotional support. They compliment each other quite nicely.

Tessa ~2 years old
Tessa was a feral cat for the first couple years of her life, but adjusted very quickly to living indoors. She is very well behaved and if she is the only cat in the house, she will find a few places she likes and spend the majority of her time sleeping there. Otherwise, she can easily be roused to play with other cats in between her naps. Her absolute favorite thing is simply being petted by someone. She seems to do well with other cats and I think she would do well with kids, too. Tessa may not be good with dogs however as she's been attacked by one before. She is an absolute sweetheart and will make a fantastic pet wherever she ends up.

Missy ~1-1.5 years old
Missy was feral for the first year of her life before being rescued while nursing kittens. She is an incredibly shy cat but once she starts to trust you, she is so sweet. She is incredibly vocal and will meow, chirp, trill, and even grunt all the time, at least once she's comfortable. From what her foster dad has seen, she does well with other cats, but may not do well with dogs, due to her shyness. Young kids may make her more nervous, and make it harder for her to adjust to a new home. Aside from all that, she is a very well behaved cat and is happy to play with her toys. Missy will need a very patient owner that is willing to put in the time to earn her trust. It will take some time, but she is worth the effort.

Both of these sweet girls are spayed, chipped, and up to date on vaccines. They are fostered in the Huntsville AL area. If interested in adopting these little ladies, please submit a non-binding application at forrescue.net/cat-application.
