TJ has quite a back story, and he’s made an incredible turnaround during his rehab time with our foster family. Today, TJ is a fun loving 6-month-old puppy, full of energy and curiosity. He is great with children, dogs and cats. He is fully house- and crate-trained, and does well on car rides. He enjoys his training times, loves challenges and is very eager to please. TJ needs a family, full of excitement and outings, as he loves to be included in family activities.
TJ was initially found under a car when he was estimated to be about 8 weeks old. He had been dumped in an alley behind a gas station with his crate and an empty bowl. He was heavily malnourished with onsetting signs of starvation and dehydration levels. TJ was also suffering from a face fracture under his left eye. The vet said maybe a car hit him or he was abused intentionally. He was treated and has made a full recovery.
TJ has been with his foster family for the past 4 months and has fully recovered from all of his injuries! Because of TJ’s past trauma, he appears shy at first (understandably so). TJ needs an understanding family that will help him in his journey into re-socialization after his rough start.
If you are interested in meeting TJ, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and email it back to us at info@farescue.org or fax (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our weekend adoptions.
