Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gummie was abandoned by his owner. He was left chained up outside with no food or water. He was found by and appraiser who had come to assess the house. The appraiser called the Sheriff and the dog was transported to the shelter. He is 2 years old and weighs 52 lbs. He is underweight and does have ribs that are showing. His teeth have been filed or chewed down to the gum. He can eat hard food, but we add a little water to make it softer. He is UTD with shots and dewormed. He is heartworm positive and will be started on treatment. He is very sweet and friendly, does well on a leash and been good with other dogs. We will cat test if necessary.
