My story

I came in with my sister Buffy. I love to play with the Chihuahua that lives in my foster's house and the other dogs in the neighborhood. My favorite toys are bones and ones that squeak. I am almost housebroken and am being trained to go potty in one spot in the yard. I have learned how to sit and am working on down and come. My favorite things to do are being outside and "helping" my foster mom garden and laying next to my family on the couch. I love to eat my kibble out of a puzzle feeder and meet new people. I am super sweet and cuddly.

Why adoption is a great option

Willow, a Oakland Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Oakland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Oakland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland paves the way for another one to be saved.
