Meet Muffin! He's a 2 year old Domestic Shorthair. He’s a shy cat at first but is very affectionate and attached once he gets comfortable. Like many cats, he is tolerant to others but wants his own space. To strangers, he can be hesitant to strangers, but warms up quickly.
Muffin loves being pet on this head and tummy. He’s a hungry boy and is willing to eat dry food and occasionally wet food. He really enjoys being in the company of his human companion.
Muffin doesn’t like loud noises or being startled. Dogs can be nearby, but she likely won’t want to play associate with them much.
An ideal home would include his own space, indoors and lots of love. He hasn’t had a lot of experience with other animals, but he is not a fighter. Muffin hasn’t had any experience around children, but he is mellow. He’s lived outside his entire life and craves love and attention — he is an amazing cat. Apply to meet Muffin today!
If you are not located near our rescue or if the drive is a problem for you, please still apply, as we bring animals out to as far as San Diego in order to bring them to their forever homes. Currently, we are driving animals far out on an as-needed basis!
If an animal is posted from us, they are AVAILABLE, however we sometimes do already have an adopter in place to meet them - however, please apply directly ASAP to ensure you get considered to meet them! We approve based on the best home, not first-come-first-serve.
If you are interested in adopting and think you can provide a great home for this pet, please complete an online application so that we can better assess if this pet is a good match for you and your family. Once that is complete and we've approved you, we can set up a time for you to meet your potential companion for life! We are strictly by appointment-only.
