Meet the Pet
Meet Sully! Due to no fault of his own (read his full story HERE on FB), Sully is back in the kennel that he dislikes so much. We have him on medication due to his arthritis, but he has trouble even climbing over the one step to the patio area of his run. He is completely housebroken and will hold it in until he is walked. He is nervous when a new person approaches his kennel, but who can blame him? He knows a lot of commands and will even go “down”, although it hurts him to do it, so we stopped asking him. He’s very good with other dogs his size, but we haven’t tried him with little dogs, and we don’t know about cats. We won’t place him with small children, because they added to his abuse in his first home, and we don’t know if he holds a grudge. He loves to be brushed and pays a little too much attention to squirrels. Sully desperately needs a forever home where he can comfortably spend his golden years. He doesn’t require much - a comfy bed, a few slow walks every day to keep his joints from hurting, and someone who will give him the attention he deserves. Please don’t let the rest of Sully’s life be as unhappy as it’s been so far. Please give him a happy ending to his story. Apply to adopt Sully at www.huskyhouse.org
