Melvin and his siblings were sent to foster when they arrived as babies. As with all our fosters, Melvin was loved, doted on, cared for and maybe spoiled a little. He is well socialized, affectionate and playful. Melvin loves to be loved on as long as he initiates it, but is not overly fond of being picked up. He is definitely not a Velcro cat. He was adopted, but returned due to an overcrowding situation at home. Melvin has been good with dogs and cats. He would likely not be suitable for small children who want to pick him up. Email reception@hsscg.org for an appointment to meet Melvin or just stop in. We are open Tuesday through Saturday 11 to 4. Melvin is neutered, microchipped, current on core vaccines and has tested negative for Fiv/FeLV.
